The ORC Fall Swapfest scheduled for 8/29/2020 has been canceled due to Covid-19.

Dear Members & Friends of the Ozaukee Radio Club,

The Board of Directors of the ORC hope that you and yours haven't been adversely affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

One significant effect to the ORC by the pandemic has been the cancellations of our Spring and Fall Swapfests.  Although we believe this was the correct thing to do for the safety of all involved, it was a substantial loss of income for the Club that created a budget deficit for the current and next fiscal year.  Furthermore, before the pandemic hit, the Club purchased and installed a sorely-needed new power amplifier for our 2-meter repeater.

We have therefore created a way for those who wish to donate funds towards the new amp and to reduce our budget deficit.  Those who wish to donate will find a special donation page on the PayPal website at the link HERE.  We have set a goal of $1,250.00, which was the cost of the new amp.  If you'd rather send a check (made out to Ozaukee Radio Club), you may hand-deliver or mail it to the Club Treasurer, Gary N9UUR.

Thank you for your consideration.

The ORC Board of Directors

Meeting Programs

A technical program is presented by one of our members or a guest presenter at our monthly meeting (except in January, when we hold elections, and June, when we discuss our club's upcoming Field Day activities). The topics range from ham radio to personal computing to anything that would be of interest to our members. The presentations may be formal or informal and always generate lively discussions.

Here are the programs scheduled for upcoming meetings (meeting will be via Zoom until further notice):

July - ORC Members' Field Day Reports

August - Home Brew Night??

September - Virtual Ham Shack Tour

If you would like to present a topic at a meeting, contact Pat, W9JI.

We publish a robust monthly newsletter, edited by Ben Evans (K9UZ), which details the club's activities (past and planned); provides technical information; and usually introduces some new and longstanding ORC members. Please visit our newsletter archive or click below to download the latest!
