FIELD DAY 2026
Amateur Radio Open House & Emergency Preparedness Exercise
What is Field Day?
Field Day is the most popular on-the-air event in North America. For 24 hours, radio enthusiasts across the continent set up temporary stations in public places to demonstrate the power of amateur radio.
-
Emergency Preparedness: Practicing off-grid communications using generators and batteries. -
Public Outreach: An “Open House” for the community to learn about radio technology. -
Community Service: Ensuring our skills are sharp for when all other systems fail.
Get On The Air! (GOTA)
No license? No experience? No problem!
Our dedicated GOTA station is specifically designed for newcomers, scouts, and the general public. Licensed mentors will be on hand to guide you through making your first contact with other stations across the country. It’s the thrill of long-distance communication at your fingertips!
